Born on the Green, Built for Golfers
First Cut Golf Club started with a small, familiar frustration: standing over a putt, patting down pockets already full of tees and a divot tool, trying to find a ball marker before the group behind starts wondering what's taking so long.
It's a tiny moment. But if you've played more than a few rounds, you know it repeats itself constantly, nine, eighteen, sometimes more times a round, and it adds up. Markers get buried, dropped, lost in a cart, or left behind entirely. None of it is a big deal on its own, but all of it gets in the way of just playing golf.
Blake Salmi, the founder of First Cut Golf Club, decided to place a ball marker on top of his Apple Watch band. This made him wonder: what if your marker just lived on your wrist?
